Primary Care Strategy has always been important; however as competition from both competitor health systems as well as non-traditional competition (virtual, non-traditional, etc), now is the time to reevaluate your organization’s approach to primary care. PCP shortages, the evolving role of APPs in care delivery and the transition from fee-for-service to fee-for-value is causing questions about the appropriate PCP care model.
