SHSMD Announces 2025 President, President-Elect and Advisory Board

CHICAGO (October 18, 2024) – The Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD), has announced David Grandy, FACHE, CMPE, will serve as president of the SHSMD Advisory Board for 2025. Grandy is national vice president, innovation for Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA, and succeeds Christine Albert, APR, CEO of Adams Street Consulting in New Orleans, who will continue her final year on the board in 2025. 2024 past president Alan Shoebridge, associate vice president for national communications at Providence in Portland, OR, will stay on as past president.

SHSMD also announced the election of Dennis Jolley, MPH, M.ED as president-elect of the board for 2025. Jolley is system vice president, strategy and planning at UW Health in Madison, WI.

SHSMD is a professional membership group of the American Hospital Association for health care marketers, communicators, strategic planners and business developers.

In addition, SHSMD announced the election of the following new board members:

  • Corinne Ahrens, vice president, client partner, Unlock Health, La Grange, IL
  • Sandra Mackey, chief marketing officer, Bon Secours Mercy Health, Cincinnati, OH

Reelected to the board is:

  • Terri J. Floor, MHA, vice president of business development, Wayne HealthCare, Greenville, OH

Also returning as board members for 2025 are:
