1. Become open to your experiences; examine them and glean from them additional questions, key learnings, etc.
2. Seek out new experiences that will lead to the most powerful learning (e.g., volunteering for a new committee).
3. Create the structure for reflection: journal, blog, and find resources and ideas that help you reflect.
4. Engage in conversations with mentors, peers and others to seek out new perspectives on a problem or situation.
